"Progress is becoming superior to your previous self, and not being superior to someone else." ~ John C. Maxwell
"When you cease to be better, you cease to be good." ~ George Knox
To become self-improving, John C. Maxwell recommends, three key things:
1. Become highly teachable - Adopt the attitude of a learner, not an expert.
2. Plan your progress - Pick an area to improve on per time, and work at it daily. Never end a day without learning something to help improve yourself.
3. Value self-improvement above self-promotion - "Let instruction and knowledge mean more to you than silver or the finest gold. Wisdom is worth much more than precious jewels or anything else you desire." ~ King Solomon of ancient Israel
What are you doing daily to become a better version of yourself? I would love to hear from you. Please share in the comments section below.
